A little look into Lisa’s background:

‘‘Art and Design was the subject I always enjoyed the most at school, so it made sense that I would progress to study this further at university. After graduating in 2009 with a Ba in Fine Art, however, I had no idea what my next step was going to be.

Whilst on maternity leave with my first child in 2016, I was introduced to the world of surface pattern design. I knew immediately that I wanted to explore this field further. I was creating very little art by this point and was excited to pick up a paintbrush again! Completing a number of pattern design courses including the renowned Make It In Design modules, I quickly rekindled my passion for drawing everyday and found myself falling in love with creating patterns. I finally began to see how I wanted my future to look.

Following a couple of successful collaborations with fellow creative businesses, I now long to see my designs out in the world bringing joy to people everyday. ‘‘

Lisa is available for design and freelance work from children’s fashion to home textiles, greetings and stationery. She is open to further collaborations and licensing opportunities and would love to hear from you, if you have a project you would like to discuss.
